Cerebral Palsy & Neurological Rehab

A cerebral palsy diagnosis brings a hundred questions. Our answer is a long-term partnership: neurodevelopmental therapy (NDT/Bobath) tailored to your child's goals — head control, sitting, standing, walking, or simply moving with less effort — reviewed and rebuilt as your child grows.

How we help

  • NDT/Bobath-based handling to build quality of movement, not just quantity
  • Strength, stretching and balance work disguised as games
  • Gait training and support with orthotics/walker use (we coordinate with your orthotist)
  • Goal-based plans (GAS goals) set with you — and measured honestly
  • Guidance on positioning, seating and equipment for home and school

What a session looks like

  • 1Individual 45–60 minute sessions with the same therapist each visit
  • 2A mix of mat work, standing/gait practice and play-based challenges
  • 3Parents learn the handling techniques that carry progress home
  • 4Written home program updated at every review

Common questions

How often will my child need therapy?
It depends on age and goals — typically 2–3 sessions a week, reviewed every 8–12 weeks. Intensive blocks are sometimes recommended before or after interventions like botulinum toxin therapy or surgery.
Do you work with our paediatric neurologist?
Yes. We share assessment reports and progress notes with your child's doctors, and align therapy with medical interventions.
Is it ever too late to start?
No. The earlier the better, but children and teenagers with CP gain strength, function and confidence from well-targeted therapy at any age.
